City of San Francisco First Time Home Buyer’s Assistance Program

by Scott Schang on March 4, 2009

Welcome to the Mayor’s Office of Housing (“MOH”) Homeownership Resource Page! Now that you have decided to purchase your first home in San Francisco, let us help you!

The first step in the process of purchasing your first home is to learn about the many opportunities available to first-time homebuyers in our city. Some of these opportunities are available through the Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH), but many are not. So, before you apply to any of the programs at MOH, please complete a homebuyer education course and come up with an individual homeownership plan for your situation.
